20-year Bankcard Sales Veteran to Expand 3DSI’s Merchant Processing and Channel Partner Operations

CHANTILLY, VA – November 14, 2007 – 3Delta Systems® (3DSI), a leader in online credit card payment solutions, today announced that Howard Ives has joined the company’s management team as vice president of sales and development, a newly created executive position. Ives is responsible for devising new business tools for 3DSI’s growing number of merchants who rely on the company’s highly secure, web-based system to process commercial credit card payments easily and quickly. He will also focus on enhancing the company’s channel partner services for enterprise-level customers.

“Howard’s solution-oriented sales expertise and thorough understanding of the commercial credit card payment business – from the point of origination through the processing stream – make him the perfect choice for this vital management role,” said Aaron Bills, co-founder and chief operating officer of 3Delta Systems.

Ives has more than 20 years of bankcard sales experience in the business-to-business, e-commerce and mail/telephone-order arenas as well as special expertise in commercial card transactions and processes that capture detailed information about those payment transactions known as Level 3 processing.

Before joining 3DSI, Ives was director of national sales for First Data’s Business Payment Services Group in Coral Springs, Florida. During his seven-year tenure, he was responsible for sales to middle market and national business accounts in the B2B segment as well as to commercial card supplier programs, for which he designed, implemented and managed supplier enrollment programs with commercial card issuers and their corporate clients. Issuers included Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, SunTrust and GE Corporate Payments.

Earlier in his career, Ives served as director of purchasing card acceptance at MasterCard, where he was responsible for increasing the use of purchase cards among issuers, acquirers, suppliers and processors. He also managed regional merchant sales at Shawmut Bank in New Haven, CT and was a merchant sales representative at CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia.

Ives holds a B.S. in general management from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
